Our shampoo bars are small but mighty! Created with a ph level that is similar to hair so that they leave your hair feeling soft, smooth and conditioned. We have spent a great deal of time researching and testing the best oils to use within our formula and after much decision making, we have included the following oils:
 
Monoi De Tahiti Oil: Monoi oil originates in French Polynesia and is made by soaking Tiare flowers in coconut oil. Monoi oil is something of a superstar when it comes to hair care. It helps to repair and add shine to hair and the Tiare flowers within this oil add softening, purifying and soothing properties.
 
Broccoli Seed Oil: A truly unique oil in the world of hair and skin care. Broccoli seed oil is used as a natural alternative to silicones. Broccoli seed oil penetrates the hair shaft easily and helps to control frizz while also giving a natural lustre to hair without weighing it down. It is a lightweight oil and will not leave hair feeling oily or greasy.
 
Jojoba Oil: Jojoba Oil is an incredibly popular oil when it comes to hair care and there's a good reason for that! Jojoba Oil helps to strengthen hair while offering some protection from split ends and frizz. Jojoba is great for scalp health too, stimulating circulation in the scalp and helping to promote hair growth. It will not weigh down your hair or leave it feeling greasy.
 
Argan Oil: Argan oil is packed with antioxidants and vitamin E which are known to help reduce hair breakage, improve elasticity and add shine to hair. Argan oil can help to promote a healthy scalp which in turn can help with hair growth. The antioxidants and fatty acids within Argan Oil may also help protect against damage from free radicals such as toxins in the environment, UV rays and heat.
 
Cocoa Butter: Cocoa butter will penetrate the hair shaft, helping to increase hair strength and lock moisture into the hair. It can help to reduce breakage and strengthen hair. It is a great choice to use on damaged hair.
 
All of our shampoo bars also contain hair loving panthenol and silk amino acids to help condition hair and pure essential oils for a subtle, natural scent.
 
Our Sweet Orange bar is a blast of citrus for you! Sweet Orange, Litsea Cubeba and Cedarwood Atlas essential oils combine to give a fresh, citrus zing that smells like freshly cut oranges. If you enjoy all things orange scented then this one is for you!
 
If you are new to shampoo bars, there are just a couple of points you should know to avoid any unexpected surprises!
 
The first is that they will not lather as much as a traditional liquid shampoo will. The big, bubbly lather is not required in order for your hair to be cleansed, but if you are used to liquid shampoos then this may feel new to you and there is a chance you may use too much of our bars at a time in order to compensate for a lesser lather. We suggest taking the shampoo bar between wet hands and rubbing it to create a light lather. You can then use this to wash your hair. Alternatively, you can rub the bar itself over your hair directly. Take care not to use too much product at a time as this can make it harder to wash out of your hair. It will also use the bar up more quickly, which you wouldn't want to do!
 
The second point to note is that as our shampoo bars are scented naturally using essential oils, they will not smell as strong as liquid shampoos that have been scented with synthetic fragrance oils. Our shampoo bars will not leave a strong scent on your hair after washing, but they will leave it feeling soft, healthy and in wonderful condition! Our solid shampoo bars have a subtle, light scent that is not overpowering.
 
When you are not using your shampoo bar be sure to keep it somewhere dry and not too humid. Like natural soaps, shampoo bars do not like being left in wet areas or humid conditions and doing so can lead to them becoming soft and mushy!
 
Our shampoo bars weigh 80g and are vegetarian friendly. Due to the inclusion of Silk Amino Acids, they are unfortunately not vegan. Each shampoo bar will be wrapped in recyclable and biodegradable "Biolefin" film (which does not leave behing microplastics) and placed into one of our white card boxes with rose gold foiling.
